The lab
Equipped for assembly, rework and diagnosis.
Bare boards come from a board house. Everything after that happens in our lab in Beuningen: assembly, rework, inspection and measurement. That keeps each iteration short.
A well-equipped lab lets us assemble, rework and diagnose boards ourselves.
01Prototyping capabilities
- Board design and layout. Multi-layer boards with controlled impedance and fine-pitch or BGA footprints, laid out for whichever assembly route you choose.
- Assembly down to 0201. We place passives down to 0201 and QFN, QFP and BGA packages by stencil or by hand, then reflow them in a profiled oven or with hot air.
- BGA rework. We remove, reball and replace BGAs on a dedicated rework station with controlled heating profiles.
- Trace and pad repair. We repair lifted pads, cut traces and damaged vias under the microscope, on prototypes as well as on production boards.
- X-ray inspection. A small X-ray shows voids, bridges and hidden joints under BGA and QFN packages.
- Ultrasonic cleaning. We remove flux and residue before inspection or delivery.
- Microscope inspection. A stereo microscope is used for assembly, rework and failure analysis.
- Measurement. Oscilloscope, spectrum analyser into the GHz range, bench meters, frequency counter, programmable supplies and electronic loads.
- Programming and debug. JTAG and SWD programming and debugging, plus logic analysis with protocol decoding for the common serial buses.

Send us the design files or a description of the board. We will tell you what we can do and when.
